    hey people,
I need you to answer this really quickly, please!
I’m thinking of changing my BSc in Economics, from Honours in eco to General. I don’t know what the Universities in UK call this, but basically till now I’ve been studying Eco Honours with maths and stats as subsidiaries. But now I’m thinking of switching to Eco General, which means I’m going to graduate in Economics but not with honours.
Can I Still apply for MSc in Eco in the UK universities? Am I still going to be eligible?
Non of the universities have specified an honours graduation! If I get the required aggregate at the end of graduation, can I apply then?
Ans fast please, I have to make up my mind quickly about this.
    thanks.

Hi, not too sure because in the UK you do need an honours degree to go on to postgraduate level. This is because an honours degree means that you have not failed any of your subjects. If you do fail a subject (after one chance to resit it) then you can only get a 3rd grade (the lowest pass grade possible) and it is called ‘without honours’. But if the UK universities don’t specify it for India then it probably means you are OK without Honours. It sounds like an Honours degree in India means something different to the UK. If you can still get the right grade I’m sure you’ll be OK (because in the UK you can only get a very low grade if you degree is ‘without honours’).

    Hope this helps!
