Hi Cozzie, I just got the con-offer from St. Andrews, the major is Mlitt. Management, but I have to take a four week Language course. There is no doubt that St. Andrews is famous, however the Management College seems to be new established, and I am not clear about its quality and reputation. Can you give me some ideas? Thanks

Happy to help! Stirling is certainly good and has a good reputation for finance but I was favouring the others mainly because it is not such a famous university around the world. Also it is a very quite place, in the countryside, very beautiful but perhaps not such an exciting place to live, not sure if that is important for you

Wow! Thanks, I really appreciate your advises. I will add them to my profile at once.
Oh, by the way, what’s your opinion about Stirling? I like its course, but it is konwn little in my Chinese friends. -

Well, Reading is really strong in this area and the major, ’real estate’ is quite unique. Loughborough is a top ranking university, quite famous around the world. And Strathclyde’s business schools is a top b-school in Britain. Their marketing course in particular is one of the best in Europe. I like that you have decided according to how you like the course content – that’s much better than rankings in my opinion.
By the way, if you add your courses to your profile (Edit Profile -> My Applications) then others will be able to help you with their thoughts also

Thanks for your suggestions, they are really helpful!
But for the courses and university I would like to apply, why you say they are great courses, and what is your ideas abut them. Actually I was not very concerned about the rank of the University, but more to their content of courses.
